The diagnostic-assessment process is essential both to provide a correct diagnostic framework and to outline the child’s functional profile and skills.
The assessment process is initiated by the infant neuropsychiatrist who welcomes the family and performs the first visit with the child.

On the basis of the problems reported by parents and indications of the child neuropsychiatrist following the examination, the assessment process is declined, which involves the professional figures necessary for a suitable path. At the end of the assessments, the team meets the family for a return interview, during which they communicate and explain the results of the assessments and outline the therapeutic-rehabilitative path, if necessary.
